Kenley's offer unrivalled transportation solutions with our fleet of modern vehicles that ranges from compact express vans up to fully-articulated 44-ton wagons and encompasses everything in between. This range allows us to carry items weighing anywhere between one and 28,000 kilos meaning anything from a small package to hundreds of pallets can be transported. A multitude of trailer options is also available including lowloader trailers and standard curtain-sided models. Deliveries can be tracked in real time by our customers from despatch until delivery thanks to the tracking devices positioned in all of our vehicles and RHA conditions fully insure all goods during transit. As the local representative of the UK Pallet Network, a group of over 80 nationwide transport companies that is synchronised to provide a total national distribution service, Kenley's are the natural choice for any transportation solution.
Our order picking and rework services continue to grow in popularity. Kenley's can quickly and efficiently accept your customer orders using our effective LocateIt warehousing system. This can be done either manually or electronically before orders are picked using an RF Scanner. The order is the packaged and labelled before being delivered and the status of the order electronically confirmed. Managing stock, processing returns, completing admin tasks and serving customers can all be easily handled by us.
For nearly 40 years, Kenley's have provided a comprehensive warehousing service. From a single bottle of juice to several reels of paper weighing a hefty three tons each, we handle, store and distribute an infinite array of products. Available on a short- or long-term basis, our warehousing facilities are always open and are protected by CCTV throughout, along with an effective RedCare alarm system. We have three modern warehouses that are situated less than a ten minute drive from J4 of the M65 and are built and adapted to optimise storage space using a palletised system. The palletised system gives enhanced cost-effectiveness as the price is calculated on a per-pallet basis, meaning the extra overheads associated with managing your own building are eliminated. We can receive goods that are already palletised or carry out this service ourselves in our dedicated container bays. All of our warehouses are, to enable precise stock management on our clients' behalf, fully racked and feature barcoded locations while our truck-mounted scanners and EDI links allow for the most efficient and swift order picking.
